    CMP karma (Monroe county)

    Interested in shooting a CMP high power match?

    Winner will be the first person to commit to being at Genesee Conservation League in Penfield on Saturday morning, November 14th, at 8:30 AM. I will provide you with an M1 Garand, ammo, entry fee, ancillary equipment, and coaching (to the best of my ability). I'm sure Liberty's Teeth can hold a spot on the firing line. Will need a firm "I'll be there" by the first of next week.

    This is a laid back, friendly, non-competitive atmosphere and you are guaranteed to have a good time (with the added bonus of meeting me, Liberty's Teeth, and Warfab). A deal at twice the price!

    Anybody in?

        You're already committed to that Sunday for the SG class, so we're good. This is a standing offer for you bro, second Saturday of the month....let me know when you've got one free.

            8:30 AM, GCL rifle range, Saturday November 14. I'm pretty sure you have my cell #, if not PM me.

            Charlie, Brian will be taking my FP for the early squad.....if you have room team Swiss would like a spot on the 2nd squad.

                  Brian, welcome aboard, we look forward to having you join us for a match and with the Garand you will have a truly memorable experience.

                  BTW, if you shoot less than 150/300 you will buy lunch for Thug and I and we can eat lots!

                      What is the chance of setting up a members military rifle/pistol shoot next year but not during hunting season? Just think it would be neat to do a military weapons day to meet other members.

                        HH, I've trying to do something like that at the Alabama swamps but haven't quite pulled it together yet. My idea was a "winter war" shoot, I've got Mosin, Mauser, Garand, Springfield, Arisaka, etc. It would be nice if we could get a club to sponsor as the swamps are OK but these rifles need to stretch their legs and the 50 yard lanes at the swamps really limit the fun. I'm open to ideas.....

                          I can check with my buddy who is a member at Caroga Fish and game club. Small place but pretty sure it goes out to at least 150 plus you can shoot stuff as long as you pick up after yourself. I've only been there once but remember an old acetaleneen (spelling) tank hanging in a tree and banging away on it with a 45-70 lever gun with open sights. It was out there a ways, had a spotter walk me over to it in three shots then adjusted his sights and he was on.

                            Thudges has really helped me out on this and it was a aw some experience and with liberties teeths coaching I did way better then I thought I was gonna do
