The National Matches are almost upon us and a whole bunch of knit wits from the Western NY area will be loaded out and heading down Interstate 90 to Camp Perry. For those interested, Warfab, Ham_Chu and I will post updates and pictures from the matches along with a pic of the mountain of PBR cans we create. Good luck to the competitors from NYShenaniguns that will be there!

Ham, Max and I are shooting from the 16th through 23rd. We have 9 matches that include the first NRA match on their opening day.

I spoke to my girlfriend at CMP HQ yesterday and she said both ranges are a swamp right now and to bring our knee boots. Can't wait to march a thousand yards to the pits through standing water and mud!!!! She also said they are getting that f'ed up half value wind out of the north east again. Said by 10 AM it gusts to 20. Oh I can't wait cause I suck reading the flags

Edit: we should go $20 a man on the 3 gun agg with winner take all. We have 10 guys from our group that are shooting in it. And some day when Warfab mans up to shoot real guns, we can take his money too!!!

I actually kind of liked that wind last year. It was shifting from half value to zero value and I shot pretty well in it. If I can handle it this year as well as last year, then whether or not I get points will mainly depend on my standing score.
