Springwater CMP Match 18APR

Announcing a CMP club shoot (not registered with CMP) down in Springwater on 18 APR. We are about 40min South of Rochester.

40 round CoF (plus sighters):
-10 rounds Slow Prone 10 min
-10 rounds Rapid Prone 80 sec
-10 rounds Rapid Sit/Kneel 80 sec
-10 rounds Slow Off-hand 10 min

We use the SR-C target at 190 yards (a bit short, but hard to move a cliff!)

Registration at 0930 and 1st Shots at 1000.

Match fee $10

Glad you made it over here! Bump for anybody in the Springwater area that wants to shoot a CMP match. Good peeps and a good time to be had. Assuming there may be a loaner rifle if somebody wanted to try their hand at this?

No, I'm good. I figured that if anybody was interested but didn't have a rifle that they should know there is usually a loaner available.

For anyone in the area this is an excellent match run by very good people. Ham_Chu does a great job working with Newbies and runs a superb match for the experienced and new shooter. I urge anyone close to the Springwater area to participate or show up to watch to gain knowledge and develop your interest in service rifle matches!!
