Sorry Pink, I was busy and did not explain. Palma is a 800-900-1000 yard open sight match shot at a 10 inch X ring that started in 1876 with muzzle loaders. It is now shot with 308 and the projectile must be 155.5 grain or less making it a very difficult match to shoot owing to wind deflection. F Class or F Tactical Rifle was developed by George Fuqrkawa or something like that so they call it “F†instead of his name. It is an open caliber class to 338 and is shot with any barrel length and optics. FTR is shot with a max of 24 inch barrel and optics.
The Mini match is used by these two classes to to shot low cost 22 LR and avoid wear on their expensive barrels. The 22 at 100 yards closely mirrors the wind drift of the center fire calibers so it make for good practice
The NRA now sanctions Mini Palma, Mini F -T/R and you can get your smallbore classification. We will be running any type of 22 rim fire riffle you have for these matches and the match directors will classify you based on the rifle you show up withComment
