I like this H&R M12 Better than the Kimber. Plus parts availability is much better. Parts for the Kimber are very hard to come by. Both excellent shooters but if I had to choose I would take the H&R.

Wildman, you have two mighty fine specimens right there! On the Kimber, you have undoubtedly noticed the occasional flier. This is due to a bad machining process Kimber had in their production plan for this US Army order. With a bunch of time analyzing the problem, we have figured out the "obstacle" and it is real simple to cure leaving you with a precision rifle capable of shooting one hole groups. PM me and I will share the secret.Comment

You have a terrific collection of target rifles and the tiger stipe on the 541 is beautiful! Just curios, is the cat minding its best interest and being friendly to the rifles just in case you are having a bad day?Comment

You mean "ole 1 eye". He is a good boy. That cat wants nothing more than to cuddle or be with someone. He is about a year and half old. I rescued him last year. I had to get the 30' extension ladder from my father in law to get him out of the tree he was stuck in for a few days in March. Well, here is my best. Good luck on the scoring, though. I don't even know what to call it. Maybe a 98-xX? 99, maybe? I honestly can't score it, even with my scoring plug. Closeup provided. Ruger 10/22 off bench, SWFA 10X SS Scope. 50 yards. Next month can we do 50 rounds at 50?

How many shots is that? Almost looks like too many. Either way pretty good shooting. I'll get to the range soon and see what I can come up with.
