May AA postal match

May match:

2 Categories: Rimfire rifle at 50 yards......scoped or irons. 10 shots for the money (bench, prone, standing, sitting, whatever). Shoot as many targets as you want and post up your best one (note which category you're posting for). We'll run until the end of the month and I'll figure out some kind of prize for the winner. X's for tie breaker if necessary.

It's a cheap sears target .22 from back in the day. Most likely not as accurate as Liberty's Teeth's CMP rimfire.

Would be fun to get everyone together to do this at the GCL. The outdoor pistol range has a few prone firing lanes that would be ideal for this.

The last time I stopped into the CMP store (like 6 years ago) they had .22 target rifles for sale among all the .30 cal rifles. I believe they are/were Kimber rifles but I can't find anything on the CMP website where you can buy one now.

Oh...You mean one of these! This one is beautiful and was spared the "razor blade" gouge on the stock that most suffered from. Great shooter and I have this one sighted in at 25 yards and compete with it at my club.
