Savage MKI and MKII FVT input needed ....

What are your thoughts and experience with these rifles? I'm looking at getting one or the other then changing out the stock and making it my "leisure" competition rifle. I was looking at the Savage .22 that was all tactical too, but they're pretty pricey if I remember correctly. Does anyone own one of these rifles?? If I get some decent feedback I'll probably sell my crossbow to fund one. I like the heavy barrel and the peep and globe sights. Single shot is perfectly fine with me as it's just a competition rifle. The tactical one also has a threaded barrel which would be a nice feature as well to add weight to the front. Decisions, decisions .....

I have one. I like it. It shoots great and I love the target sights. I don't use it as often as I'd like to. Well worth the money.
