Ruger 77/22 mods

Thinking about pillar bedding the stock and free floating the barrel. It's a great shooter but I always want better. Anyone have one they bedded? Looks pretty strait forward for pillars. Going to use sandpaper on sockets to open up the barrel channel for the free float.

Get a Shilen Barrel you won't regret it!! Mine shoots CCI-SV as good as any high end 22 target ammo!!

If bedding it and the free float don't tighten things up its going to be a new barrel.

Small mod but did you change the magazine release button? I hated that push the button up into the stock release!

New bolt knob, old one would touch the scope.

Home made mag release. Made it out of titanium to match target gray color of rifle.
