New Holy Grail Gun! :-)
I have been wanting one of these for a long time. They have been doing nothing but going up in price as a rather fast pace. I was not planning on buying this right now but one in imacculate condition came along for a decent price. Came with the sights and the accessories you see. Normally people sell the sights separate because they know they can get another $300 bucks for them.
So...This is my Remington 40xb. This is built off the rem 700 action. The older ones were based of the 722 action. I bought this from an older gentleman (79yo) who used to shoot this in the local rimfire matches local to him. I also plan on doing the same with it so he was happy to hear that. Rifle came with the original Redfield Olympic front sight and Palma rear. It also came with a barrel tuner and a cool aluminum plate that fits the rail for bench shooting. Rifle also came with the stock trigger and a Shillen competition trigger installed that is designed to be set between 4-6 ounces! Its an amazing trigger. I am very happy with my purchase and cannot wait to get it out and see what it and I can do. I know this will out shoot me but will give me something to hone my skills on. I have a few really nice target and match rifles already but nothing that is a high tier like this. Only thing better than a 40x is dropping $$$ on a high end Annie. These are also the best of the American made match rifles.
