So since I pillar bedded the stock the take down screw wasn't long enough. Totally lame! Its an odd size #12/24 which you can't easily find. I got lucky because the v-block screws are the same thread pitch and I replaced the originals with new ones that came with the adjustable v-block. So I chucked one up in the lathe and made my own. Cut it to the length I needed and the rest was done with a file.

Factory on left, v-block screw middle and home made on right.

A little cold blue and good as new.

Polished the trigger group. Rimfire Technologies precision trigger and adjustable sear with Ruger disconnector. I did not mess with the hammer or sear notches, this was already done by Rimfire Techologies. Not hard to do to a factory set up if you know how to. ***DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING, YOU WILL MAKE THE FIREARM UNSAFE IF NOT DONE INCORRECTLY***

Tactical Innovations billet trigger group. Two piece design really lets you see how the trigger group works.

New hole drilled, tapped and threaded for torsion style trigger return spring catch. This replaces the factory plunger style one in the trigger guard.

Groove in Rimfire Technologies trigger for new spring. This groove can be cut into a factory trigger also if you want to use this setup. Pic on right with spring positioned.

Trigger pin holes drilled for over sized pin. Had to do the same to hole in trigger, you can see in above right pic.

Top hole in trigger for sear adjustment to take out the creep. Bottom hole with set screw for trigger stop. Not using this, I am drilling and tapping the unused factory trigger return spring hole and installing a trigger stop there.

Volquartsen over sized safety. Big mistake, makes it impossible to get the action into the stock without modifying the stock. I ended up using the factory safety. Wanted to show the old hole in a pencil trick for getting the safety installed. Same way I do AR front takedown pins. Use the pencil as a slave while pushing the safety in. Getting the safety installed is the biggest pain in the ass if you don't know how. They make a special tool for doing this but I can't justify spending $20 on it.

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft
