Looking for tools to shorten a barrel on a 22 I have. I have an older 510 single shot remington. It's in ok condition but there are a million of them around. Wanna make it a personalized plinker. I would like to shorten the barrel down to 18-20" and add a small piece of rail to the top for a micro red dot. Does anyone have these tools locally or where can I get them the cheapest since I may only cut a 22 barrel once or twice.

I'd call up some gunsmiths. They ought to be able to cut and recrown the barrel fo $30-40. Cheaper than buying a reamer to do yourself. -
