  • Which peep sight

So which peep sight should I buy for my new .22LR and why?

Here are some of the options I'm looking at but open to other suggestions.

    Williams FP

Pros: Manufactured specifically for my rifle and recommended by manufacturer
Fits receiver dovetail and do not need to mod factory stock

    Cons: Bulky

    Skinner CZ 452/455

    Pros: Sleek, no protruding knobs

    Cons: Assuming adjustments require tools

    Tech Sights

Pros: Military style (have same style on other guns), comes with new matching front sight and guard

Cons: Front sight may not fit properly without drilling and tapping new hole

    BRNO target sights:

Pros: Old world quailty; comes with hooded front sight

Cons: Most expensive, sourcing may be problematic

    FS Aperture

    Pros: Wildman seal of approval

Cons: Sourcing seems a bit sketchy, LOL; conflicting info whether it fits my gun or not.

    So, let's here it!

Figured I'd get this out of the way now so we can talk about some guns, LOL...

diopter with drop and wind-age but small and simple. The issue is you cannot talk about the system w/o talking about the front post and proper alignment parallel to the bore.
There are many designs avaliable so what looks good for me might not look for for you. I prefer fine posts with enclosed (hooded) but I am sure
a small HK 1200 yards single peep diopeter will do fine for most tasks. the larger the radious the better ...
check out KNS designs.. so many to choose from.

Also will need to consider ergonomics as many rifles will need a cheek raiser and adjustable back plate for proper
          position and natural aim.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

I love the Tech sights on my 795 Marlin, if you're on a budget that would be the way to go (and they offer a kit of different sized apertures).

If' you're looking to go match grade accurate, I'd recommend adjustable iris apertures (front and rear if possible, at least the rear) or at least something that you can install adjustable iris into (http://www.champchoice.com/store/Mai...tions&item=510). Those BRNO's are pretty sweet.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

            I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

That last BRNO sight looks pretty sweet. Kind of looks like a left hand version though?

Any way you can fit some old Redfield sights on it? No idea of there is an adapter that will work, but you can usually find used Redfields around.

11mm (just shy of 3/8") dovetail on receiver. Have no idea what's available for it.

Weird thing is title says cz455 but the guy who is selling them said he didn't have adaptors for cz rifles. That's why I thought it was "sketchy"...

BTW, how are you doing bro? Happy New Year!

If you are interested in high quality diopter match sights run to EBay ASAP. There are two sets of the Govt match sights for Kimber 82G for sale. Both were at $250'ish just now when I looked. Search Kimber 82G Sights.
i have the 82G for offhand practice and the sights are great and priced right!
