So I have started go use it to prep brass. One issue I have is sometimes when I'm pulling handle the plate doesn't line up perfectly and the de primer pin hits neck of case bending it if I'm not paying attention. Any ideas why?

Am I short stroking or going to fast?
Also anyone use the electric trimmer for it? Have to set it up soon and trim a lot of brass once I finish prepping it otherwise.
I use the Dillon rapid trim on my XL-650 and set up a specific tool head just for the trimming process. Brass gets lubed, sized and then trimmed and cycled through with nothing else happening. I would recommend a dedicated tool head and use the vacuum cleaner port with a small shop vac.
Any cycling problems should be found in the troubleshooting section of the manual or a call to Dillon, they are a great and very helpful company to deal with.
