  • .33 Winchester

Anyone load for the .33 Winchester? The Hornady .338 200 gr round nose bullets have been obsolete for quite sometime and modern spire point bullets won't stabilize well in the old girl(1902 mfg), besides being a tube mag feed lever gun (Win 1886). The balistic/polymer bullets don't work any better, yea I'll get somewhere minute of whitetail but I believe in making the 1st shot count and want the gun to do its part in sending it down range. What I really need is a .338 cal, 200 grain round nose mould. Any out there with out ordering one?
I must say I love beavers.

I potable should slug the barrel first if going the custom route, was hoping to get lucky and say, hey I just happen to have one for a reasonable price.
That was a good read, thanks for the link.
