    NRA reloading class offered at Ontario Rod and Gun Jan 25 (reg deadline Jan 12)

    Some of you guys know Ken ("bear arms" over at NYF and club President at ORGC), he's running an NRA reloading class a few weeks from now out at the club. All of you guys that got reloading equipment from Santa this year but aren't sure what to do with it should consider attending this class. Drop Ken an email, give him a call, PM him at NFY, or search for this class at the NRA website before next Monday and let him know that you're in. I'll see you there!

    O.R.G.C. presents the NRA basic Metallic Reloading Course. This class will enable Shooters with little to no experience in reloading to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to produce Safe, consistent and accurate reloaded ammunition.             All set, had to copy it over to other calendar, i could have labelled the calendars better, took me some time to figure what the problem was as well.

              I wish there were more of these around the state. I really want to learn this and there is only so much info I can glean from Youtube...

                    Long day (almost 10 hours) but a great class. I have been reloading for several months; self-taught by reading a few books and watching a ton of you tube vids but I still "don't know what I don't know" so I took this class. The curriculum is very thorough although we had to fast-forward through a few sections in the interest of time (this is really a two-day course). Ken did a great job teaching the basics, with a constant emphasis on safety, as well as sharing some more advanced techniques he has gained through experience. We got a good amount of hands-on with all of the required equipment as well as some cool optional tools. After going over setup and adjustment, we all had a chance to run the press and make ammo to take home as a souvenir. Since this was the NRA certification class, there was a relatively comprehensive exam at the end of the class. I passed the test and am now certified by the NRA in "Metallic Cartridge Reloading". Yay me!
