Tactical match

Going to be in a tactical rifle match tomorrow at Sara Spa (kinda like IDPA with rifles) 7yards, 15/30/60 then 100 with different positions standing, kneeling, prone, and weak side shooting. I'm going to use my Mini 14. Have watched the guys shoot it before and it's a lot of fun!! That in the am then in the pm we have a CMP Rinfire Sported practice match. One of the other guys is going to shoot a bolt action so I may use my RAR instead of a semi myself! (I have some Epsom salts for the hot soak in the tube I'm going to need!!)

That's sounds like an awesome time, would love to hear more about it after your out of the tube.

Is this something they do all the time? Is it just in your area or is it all over?

Oh yeah then I did shoot the CMP Rimfire Sporter match ! And really needed that soak in the tube! At my age fun is starting to be painful!! We do have another of these matches coming up but thankfully not on the same day!!

Sounds like a great time. I'd like to do some of this stuff but can never find the time to do it lol....
