    I met Mek here for a couple rounds of trap last weekend, was so impressed that i joined up. Located in Penfield, it's a shotgun only club. Clean modern facility, great club house with fireplace, darts, pool table, bar (gasp!), and kitchen. The members are super friendly and very welcoming, dues are extremely reasonable ($75). Open shoots Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.

    bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

    I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

    I've been a guest there a couple times (once for a bachelor party which is a great idea btw) and was impressed both times! I shot like Peshitta but sure had fun and liked the venue

      Everyone has a good time no matter what. The shooting is relaxed with a total lack of tight azz competivness BS so even the junior shooters feel so relaxed that is a great place to
      learn and have fun. I think the way it should be in every club but it doesn't work like that everywhere.
      Anyway I was the first time out and the first shots bunch of spider webs came out of the barrel. It feels like I am coming out of the burrows and the sun light hurts on my eyes.
      Things will be warming up but first few shots I shot like Stevie Wonder. LOL

        Not at all! Thanks to you for joining!! I think the whole environment, as intended by the founders, is based on the old school type of camaraderie.
        I am glad you had a good time. We will get together there more times. It is a place where one can have some fun shooting and really get
        to decompress from all the stresses of life.

          So how about we get some of the Roc area members together and spend a Sunday afternoon shooting clays and then relaxing afterwards over a cold one?

              Thinking about it since the pistol range at ORGC is closed for a class tomorrow. Probably head out to the club @ 11:00.....I'll text you when I leave the house.

                Got hijacked by my daughter, she wants to hit the Lilac Fest so I'll have to try for another weekend at the cub.
