Christmas party at Ontario Rod and Gun today, free shooting (trap, tactical rifle/pistol, steel), fried turkey, and more cookies than you could shake a stick at. I got out for a few hours, shot a couple rounds of trap, ran the tactical course with my SKS (much to the amusement of the tactikewl kids all dressed up in their army man costumes), and popped the dueling tree with a few mags through the 1911. The kids were doing mag dumps with their plastic rifles to see who could get the quickest split times, I gave it a try with the SKS but discovered that my trigger finger cycles faster than the action on the old girl can. Got to hang with some great folks, play around with guns, and fill up on some great food.....not a bad day.
There is a prize shoot with all types of clay games on December 18, raffle for cash prizes too. Open to the public, let me know if anybody wants to come out and have some fun.
