My Monroe County Pistol Permit Story

So my cousin turns he is last Feb. He calls yesterday to ask about it and was told he would be called back.

He gets called back today. The woman tells him she found his application on the judges desk and that she took it to him to sign.
He signed it right there and she's sending it back to the clerk.

Anyone ever hear of that happening?

Hell no I never heard of that. Probably never will again. That's pretty cool though.

I have. Back in 1981 when I applied for mine I started calling County Clerk after 4-5 months. She kept finding my appl on the judges desk at the bottom of the pile. I had called in a few times and was very polite about it. After calling quite a few times she said I was so nice that I'm taking it to the top of the pile and telling him to sign it now. Had it in my hands about 3 to 4 days later.
