I think that "Garand" is sitting on the display wall of Field & Stream in Rochester right now. IIRC $699.

I'd take any one of them, since it would make Andy-boy piss his panties.

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

If you like lever actions then the 96/22 might be the one. Same magazines, same barrels, same base receiver...

Sorry Meke but the magazine is not the same! I have a 96/22 and it uses the same mag as the 77/22 which I also have! I bought the 77/22 first because I thought it was the same mags as the 10/22 and I had 3 of them with over a dozen mags.Well the rifle was used and I was having feeding problems with the mag that came with it and my other mags. Looking though Midway catalog I wondered why there was 2 different listing for these mags? I called Rugers CS and they told me there was a difference! picked up 2 77/22 mags no more feeding problems!! A 77/22 mag will get stuck in most 10/22's as the sides don't taper in slightly like a 10/22 mag. The 77/22 mag is flat on the bottom and the 10/22 has a rounded beveled bottom is how to tell them apart.

I think with other than ruger magazines some aftermarket magazines work in both. But I don't really have one so I cannot tell. Thanks for clarifying that.
