Last Sunday for Fathers Day, I went shooting with one of my sons. We didn't get to shoot for as long as we hoped, as the neighbors dog got out and was running around in the field and woods, so he had to be caught before we could resume shooting.

Here is my son shooting the 54r VEPR.
And here he is with the 5.45 VEPR. Notice that he is a left handed shooter, so the filled in thumbhole stock works just as well either way. He did have to switch for the 54r because the POSP scope is offset for right handed shooters.
The triggers on both VEPR's are a bit gritty, and still need some breaking in.
