Bought a Lee Enfield at auction today, and I know nothing about them. 303 British Stamped on the left side of the receiver Longbranch 1945. Can anyone tell me more? Maybe the value. I found info online that it may have been made in Canada since it is stamped Longbranch. Hoping I didn't pay to much but got caught in the moment. Paid $130 plus 10% buyer premium sales tax and $25 fee for NICS check. What you guys think?

For what it's worth the receiver, mag, and strap on the stock all have matching numbers. It looks like it was sporterized though, not sure if that will hurt the value. I can't currently post photos, but when my phone is fixed in a couple days I will try to get some on.
What you talkin' 'bout Willis?

Waiting for photos (sporterized destroys any collector value).Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

The Canadian Long Branch is highly collectible as they were a low volume producer. There is a bidding war right now for one on GB and its up over $1000. Run, don't walk to EBay or GB and find a correct
Stock for it and you have a winner. You should be able to get stock for $300 max. After you've completed this task, keep it for your grand kids as it will just keep going up in value. Nice score!!!
