  • any info on FN-49's

old FN-49 in 7mm mauser, nice to have but thinking of selling it, anyone familiar with these, value, etc?????????????
    I'm confused!!!!!

Do you have any idea when it was produced? 7x57 Mauser could place it within first production order to Venezuela in 1948, which I suppose would give it some collectible value. There are a few on GunBroker ranging from about $500 to $4,500 (Luxembourgh sniper model). The Egyptian models were chambered in 8mm and are at bottom end of prices. Belgium models were chambered in 30-06. There are some Argentine models listed in the $1,000 range. It would be cool if you happen to have a first run.

It's just a crappy old wooden relic, I'll give ya a couple hundred bucks for it.....free up some space in your safe.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

      I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Makes it even more worthless, I'll give you $150.

Seriously, looks like @ $500 would be a good starting price on Gunborker (if it's in halfway decent condition)....let the collectors drive it up from there.

I'm with th on this one, auction listing and see what happens, I have a very nice French Lebel rifle that belonged to my neighbor, doesn't float my boat but to someone that wants a particular one will drive up the price. GLWS

Asked 650.00, had a dealer offer me 500.00, passed and sold it to a private individual for 550.00 and he picked up the tab for the transfer fee. It was getting heavy carrying around, LOL. Transfer was a little lengthy, a couple of FFL's did not want to do it because I was from NY and the buyer was from NJ, found one that would do it in between gun sales and a lot of guns were selling.....many cash and Carry handguns while we waited FUAC
