  • Rifles/shotguns that take up space, not worth much and or useless

Got a few that clog up the safe, for starters I have a savage 93 17HMR, pre accutrigger, ammo is on the experience side to plink and useless to hunt with. Rifle not worth anything and would be a hard sell with the demand for updated ones, what to do with guns like this one?? Maybe a gun by back? What do you have that is similar and any plans to do with it?
    I'm confused!!!!!

First gun I bought. Winchester 1300 with a rifled barrel. I don't hunt. Buttery-smooth actuon. Maybe some day find a custom barrel for it.

I'll give you more than a buy-back will for that 17hmr for B. F buy-backs LOL. Or give it to M? He'd love it.

Have one of those too, pre safe act yard sale, LOL a short barrel and that would be a decent H.D. Gun

17 HMR is a good varminter
Old enough to know better, still too young to care

If your not sure what to do with it, throw it up on gunbroker and start the bidding low, still would be more money than a buy back, buy backs are for broken guns, and cheap guns you shot out.

17 hmr is a horrible varmint round, woodchucks laugh at you when you hit them with the 17hmr-even a headshot. the round has no deep penetration, just a substantial superficial wound.

having never tried 17 hmr i'm surprised to hear that. i would have thought it to be an effective chuck round inside 100/150 yards.
granted, i never can deny using something that is overkill for woodchucks
