Well this past Thanksgiving morning I went down to the Club to do some shooting with the new S&W MP Shield I got recently. But first as a Club RSO I took a walk to the outdoor ranges to see what was going on,Two member on the 50 yard range using the single thrower, One member on the 100/200 yard range sighting in a nice bolt action rifle. So I ask how ya hitting um? He says not good shows me some spent case's that had split on him! I ask reloads? No brand new factory 270 win and he had 3 boxes that he just picked up. Then he pulls out another box from his range bag that I could see was quit old, And say's this is the last box that he had that came with the rifle when he bought it! Then it dawns on me what make is that rifle? Sure enough a Weatherby in 270 W.M. not 270 Winchester. Lucky nothing more then split cases, Which I have now for the new member orientations that we run for all new members.
