Maybe they did or maybe they didn't but don't you think a smart company would be looking what enthusiasts are doing
and how they are coming up with ideas to resolve common problems and then applying those ideas into their designs.
I don't think one single engineer or teams of engineers can even begin to compare to the potential of the enthusiast collective.
It is free IP after all!

It makes me happy any time a company develops a new product that is sure to befuddle the anti-gun legislators. Who cares if it makes any difference as long as it looks scary and isn't covered under SAFE I like it.
