Picked Up My New Troy Par. 1st Impressions Are Great!!!

As soon as I opened the box I was impressed. The quality of the build I think is outstanding. The machining of the lower and upper are beautiful and they are finished extremely well. Both upper and lower fit very well with minimal movement. Moving the pump is effortless. The action is so smooth and solid feeling. I'm pretty excited for this and hope it shoots as well as it looks.

The barrel is a 1:7 twist so it should stabilize anything out there. It's also melonite which is said to be better than chrome lined.

How does it come apart to clean?

Thanks man. I always try to take good pics of stuff.

OK here is how you disassemble and reassemble.

1. Make sure gun is clear etc.
2. Remove rear take down pin.
3. Pull pump to the rear.
4. On the top rail of the handguard you will see a small hole. When pump is all the way to rear you will see a detent in the small hole instead of rod. Press the detent with a tip of bullet and pull on the bolt carrier and it will come right out the back.

About melonite.... It is awesome and better then chrome for more then longevity.... Accuracy as well.

One of the companies that I've bought 5 barrels from uses melonite and man that stuff is tough.
