    I'm a huge fan of the 6.8 SPC II and that is my go to however this is one bad mother trucker.

    I am also waiting for my NexGen build to come in....custom built upper, bolt, carrier, barrel, etc to mate on a dpms g1 lower. Completed weighs around 7lbs. Gentlemen I get most of my 6.8 barrels from is having this project come to reality.

    If I end up winning the lotto this week, I'll be sure to pick up one of the following...

    That's sweet! I want a Spikes Gen2 lower. I have issues lol!

      I think that one takes DPMS/knights mags right? We all have issues! lol.

        Yea I'm gonna stick with the gen1 dpms pattern lower for the NexGen this way if I want another upper won't have to deal with limitations. I had an old Panther AR10 and it was HEAVY.... This "AR12" design having a 308 in an under 7lb with optics package is banging. Probably going with my favorite Diamondhead VRS-t rail or UTG ProSlim.

          thats a really nice tool right there, and a piston system... im a big fan of piston rifles. if we ever get rid of this bullPeshitta aw ban i wouldnt mind looking at one of these... or perhaps one of these..

                That's a nice looking setup. If this was a dedicated "sniper" setup as the link references, would an 18" or 20" barrel be a better option? Dunno, just wondering ignorantly and out loud as someone who knows very little about ballistics.

                Celt - I like that LaRue setup as well. I'd like to incorporate a 20" upper with a scope into my toolkit if I have the cash some day.

                  In theory, the 20" would be more like a "sniper" setup... However, barrel length isn't everything. Harmonics play a huge role in accuracy and perhaps an 18" setup will be more accurate with a piston then the 20" even though the 20" will get that .30cal moving faster....

                      $50k and only has a 30 day warranty?? LOL That's hysterical..... Kia has a better warranty and have killed more people then that thing
