All done.... optic sits too tall (i thought it would, but hoped it would be ok). I have to wait for the low pro rings to get in, but thats ok..

Is that paracord run through the handguard? Never saw that before.

yes, it is paracord. it helps give a better grip by providing some texture.

Ares will be shipping all newly manufactured rifles with the 5lb trigger. Anyone with the old 10lb trigger can send in the lower and get it swapped out for the 5lber free of charge.
