  • AR Part Retailers

I know about Joebob, Midway, and Brownells. Are there any other retailers for AR parts?

As mentioned at lunch, I've been wanting to switch over to rifle for deer, and while I'm still back and forth on caliber I want to use (6.5 grendel, 6.8 spc, or .300 blackout are the current runners), I want to start pricing out and sourcing parts.

I think Meketrefe always seemed to have obscure parts retailers he used. Maybe he could provide some help.

PSA, Buds, KYGUNCO, AR15Parts.com, etc, etc.

...or quit f ucking around with the peashooter and build an AR10.

...or just go old school and get a decent bolt gun. Everybody should have a decent bolt gun.

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

      I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

              300 Blackout ??
Meke will have a stroke. )

Personally, if you desire rifle caliber, I would go .308
Surplus rounds were reasonable the last I purchased

AR15 was the plan since, I may or may not already have that stuff. But yeah, a 10 would be fun, too

let's be honest, you really need one of each

i'd keep the peashooter a peashooter and not try and focus it on deer. i'd start an ar10 for deer personally.
and for your firsts, keep them 5.56 & 308 respectively.

There's also that whole buying the lower receiver crap in NY now. I'd prefer to stay low on the radar (there's no staying off it at this point).

300 is a nice option, maybe not ballistically, because it uses the same bolt and mags as a 5.56/.223.

I do want a bolt gun, but my budget puts me at around Remington 770 price range, and I don't want to go that route. I can piecemeal an AR upper together over time, though.

Windham weaponry, aero precision, and bear creek arsenal. There are other ar producers that sell all the parts too.

Primary Arms and Palmetto State Armory are both well stocked with AR parts. PSA takes forever to ship, but their selection is good and they have something for every budget. You can get complete rifle kits that have everything you need minus the lower and optic for under $400.
