  • AR-15 Mil Spec Buffer Tube kit help.

Hello everyone,This might be a long shot but does anyone have a spare complete AR-15 Buffer tube kit they would like to sell or can you recommend a good kit I should look at getting..

I did order my lower part kit,I found a good deal on a complete CMMG Kit that has all the parts I needed..so what I need now to complete my lower is a Mil Spec 6 position Buffer Tube,Buffer Spring,The Buffer,Stock Plate and Castle Nut,I think these are the only parts I need left to get to complete my lower..I do already have a stock..So the only thing left I will need to get is a complete upper at some point over the summer..

Thanks for any help that anyone can give me..

    Clarence
I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

The Brownells kit comes with everything you need and will be fine for what you're using it for.

I know it has been awhile since I posted this,I have been really busy helping my good friend who owns a Marina and a Bar,I been helping out with totaling remodeling his Bar which is finally done and up and open for business, Now that the Bar is done the boating season is starting up we been getting all the new docks we built this winter in the water and we just started putting a couple boats in the water.Between getting all the boats in I also have a couple other project that Marina owner is going to have me do and that is trying to get the rest of Barge painted outside and I also have to try and get the inside also painted which will be a challenge for me with my back issues but the owner told me to take my time as he knows I have bad back,I could not say no to working for him as he has always paid me so very well for doing odd jobs for him in the past..I also figured with the money I know I be making from him I will have more then enough money to build all the guns I been wanting to build over the summer into fall..

I managed to pickup a couple buffer kits and lower part kits for a couple rifles that I be building ,As of right now I own 3 Spikes lowers and 1 PSA AR-10 lower,The funny part was that when I purchased my Spikes Lowers from my local gun shop my landlord who had decided he wanted to come with me so he decided he would purchase a Spikes lower himself..

I am just wondering since I have a extra Spikes lower I am thinking of building a 300 Blackout or a 224 Valkyrie what I like to know has anyone ever shot a 300 Blackout or 224 Valkyrie before? As of right now I am really leaning towards building a 300 Blackout so I wanted to get some input from you all..

300 Blackout is the absolute favorite cartridge of Meketrefe . I think he'll be happy to give you some input.

Blackout and Valkyrie are obviously very different cartridges with very different purposes. What you would like to do with the rifle should pretty easily determine which chambering to go with.

If you're reloading your own and punching tiny groups at distance, you're probably not burning through a large quantity of ammunition.
