Thanks everyone I will go with a Anderson lower.I know it be a little more money building but I really would like to build my own vs buying one that is already built, plus it would give me the satisfaction that I was able to do this. As far as a AR-10 goes I am pretty sure to build one I should try and stay with all the same specs such as lower and upper should be made by the same company. This is something I will have to think on but for now I stay with building the AR-15..
It actually will be cheaper in the long run to build, simply because you get what you want, the first time. The alternative is that you buy a rifle for $699 and then spend another $800 customizing it to your liking, and you end up with a lot of useless spare parts. Don't ask me how I know that, you're just going to have to trust me on this one.
I've taken a liking to Fortis Manufacturing handguards in recent years, they're top notch, super light, full free float handguards. I have some in REV and REV II models. Love them. They use the factory barrel nut, which is nice. https://fortismfg.com/index.php?route=common/home
A cheaper alternative is some of the ones that you can get from Chandler Hardwoods. A little heavier and not quite the machining quality of Fortis, but still full free floats and very nice. http://www.chandlerhardwoods.com/category-s/1837.htm
