It comes in 2 versions. 1 of them is non threaded and 10 round mag so 100% legal. Model 19101 as opposed to 19100.
I plan on getting one as soon as I can get my hands on one. Shame I just bought a marlin camp 9 like a month a go. Oh well can always have 2.
Ruger did a really nice job on this I think. They fixed the trigger from the 1st model so now its not incorporated into the stock. It doesn't have that big weight in the stock so you will probably be able to get an aftermarket stock if you wish. I love the heave barrel personally and think pencil barrels look weird. Option for glock mags is nice too. Sights are a quality ghost ring instead of just a vee notch.
So much for the old version being worth 1000 bucks anymore. That model just because worthless. This might even lower the camp 9 price too which would suck for me but also might drive marlin to make the camp series again. Would like to see some other calibers for sure like 45, 40, 10mm.They can't stop us let them try. For heavy metal we will die!!!
Snowflakes are great!!! You can roll them around into a giant mass and shove a carrot in their ........

rebarrel so if ruger doesn't give us extensions or releases a fixed barrel model the old one is one to consider.
It all depends if they open up and make it an open platform like teh 10/22 and give the extensions and let the aftermarket take over.
If they are smart they can be coowners of a popular platform but if they close down options then they might not sell many.
folks want flexibiligy and modularity vs. being stuck with the same round or same stock, barrels, etc...
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance
