Some of you may remember my brother gave me an SKS for Christmas last year. I was supposed to ship it to myself but due to weather and some other conditions it didn't happen. Well, when I was back in TX and after my Dad passed I went looking for it. I had disassembled it and boxed most of the parts up. As a gift my Dad purchased a nice wooden stock for it since I wasn't a fan of the polymer stock it was in. Plus it would have probably made it unSAFE illegal here. So, after digging and searching in a few places I found everything for it except the barrel and receiver. Of course I wouldn't be able to find the most important parts, lol! Anyway, my brother is going to hunt down the remaining parts for me. I have food for it so now I'm just waiting to find the missing pieces. I suspect the missing pieces are in the gun safe but I couldn't find the combo to it. Time will tell. Once I get everything and the rifle is reassembled I'll be sure to post some photos.

This is just one of many puzzles my Dad left behind for the family to figure out
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.

Condolences again, Jimbo. I'm sure you'll get all the pieces put back together soon.

Let this serve as a lesson, I know we hate to think about it but we all should have some type of "after I'm gone" instructions detailing things like lock combinations, passwords, bank account/investment/insurance policy info, inventory of valuables, etc.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Thanks Thughes! I'm sure the receiver and barrel will turn up. My other big puzzle is parts for my VW engine we were to build. I've got a list of parts I found and am trying to get a list of parts I still need. Hopefully by the summer I'll have everything I need to do so

You're right about the "after I'm gone" list.

Yeah. Having stuff squared away is always a good thing. Jimbo- hope it turns up.
