  • Another upgrade for the 54r VEPR...

No more 5 round polymer mags (unless I want to go hunting) or unreliable 10 round aftermarket polymer mags for me! These all steel mags are awesome....

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Nice. How is it shooting with the stock filled in?

Shoots fine actually. Way better than a spur grip!

Still need a adjustable rest for the stock so I can get a proper cheek weld for the scope set-up. I've just been chinning it.

Since the stock is already buggered for SAFE Act reasons, I might go with an option like this: http://www.karstenskydexcheekrest.co...e-cheek-pieces

Nice. There's a thread on the new site where somebody made a DIY cheek riser. Looked just like the one in your link. http://nygunforum.com/threads/the-di...24/#post-68852

            Nice.

There are certainly cheaper places to get this type of cheek riser than the name brand link I posted, but DIY is even cheaper. I could probably even get the kydex for free from my oldest, who is now working for a holster company in the Live Free or Die state of N.H.

Not cheap, but wouldn't require permanent mods to your stock:

I would love to own a Dragunov! Too bad they are now illegal in this state. Neutering one of those would be a real shame.

Yeah, that's nice but a little too pricey for my taste, especially since my stock is already permanently modified.
