  • The New Kimber Revolver

Pretty cool that they're branching out. Looks pretty cool, but I'm a fan of having a hammer that allows me to shoot single action.

Looks nice, but I just got rid of my Ruger LCR for that very reason, an internal hammer.

Surprised they're still made in Yonkers. Always liked the old rifles made by the original Kimber out west. Probably would stick with an S&W or Ruger for a snubby...

Hammerless is great for carrying in jacket since hammer can't get caught on anything if you shoot through jacket
www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!
Finally joined the ranks of broke homeowner
Am I short stroking or going to fast?

I know he has a bush

That's the argument I've heard, but I don't carry in my jacket anyways. I probably have too much of a marksmanship mindset to appreciate the advantages of a hammerless design.

Overpriced, and not at all innovative IMHO. They had the chance to get in with a clean sheet design, and epically failed.

Now the Chiappa Rhino in .357 Mag is a far better choice now that they have the trigger and hammer sorted out. When it first came out the trigger and hammer were pretty rough, but they have since fixed those issues. It's fairly priced at $751.00 at Buds vs. Kimbers outrageous price of $900.00, which shows that a suit designed this gun vs a firearms enthusiast.

Recoil magazine gave a very favorable review to the Rhino as well.
