    Federal white box

    So I had a round go "click" last night during the weekly RPD CCW shoot, tap/rack resulted in a perfectly good round of ammo being ejected but whatever......finished the course of fire. Picking up the brass after my run to discover this:

    Is that a primer that was installed backwards? WTF? We pulled the bullet and found this:

    Yup! Somehow the flash hole was never drilled and it also made it off the line without a primer. AND......I didn't notice it either (gotta stop loading mags in the dark)

            Just got an email reply from Federal, they're sending me a $10 refund check. Federal customer service gets 2 thumbs up.
