I've been pondering this myself lately......wouldn't smaller faster bullets have a better chance of getting through multiple layers of clothing than bigger slower bullets?

(maybe I should get a 10mm or a .357Sig for winter carry, hmmm)

Haven't carried my Delta Elite for ever fearing if I did have to use it, LE would collect it as evidence until you are cleared of wrong doing and the possibility of not getting it back in this communist state.
Anyone have 1st hand knowledge of how NYS handles this or strictly up to the local LE.
