  • Seasonal carry

During the summer when it's shorts/tees/flip flops season I carry the BG380 in my shorts pocket. Other than that, if there isn't any snow on the ground I carry the G26. Now that my clothing (and the bad guy's clothing) is a bit heavier, I've decided to show the G30 some love (since dwa8675309 told me that I can't carry a 1911......which, by the way Danger Dave, the Ruger ran flawlessly with the Wilson mags last night but you wouldn't know that because you weren't there!).

Do you guys switch it up now that the season dictates clothing which allows you to conceal a larger piece?
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I've tried a few different guns but pretty much stick with the Sig 938 or G23.

Haha! I never exactly said don't carry a 1911, I just said don't choose your carry gun based on the periodic table.

I was tied up last night, running on an alternate schedule this week with Thanksgiving throwing a monkey in the wrench. I'll be back next Tuesday. I figured those Wilson mags would clear up the troubles you had with the junk from Brownells.

And yes, I have a seasonal carry rotation as well. The summer time is the M&P Shield, which disappears even under a thin dry fit shirt. Winter time is the G19. Although I may stick with the Shield even through the winter again this year now that I have a sweet custom made dual mag holder from Andy. I haven't decided yet. One thing that I very much avoid is rotating carry guns on a regular basis. I know of more than a few people that might carry a different gun every few days and rotate 3 or 4 on a regular basis. It's one thing to shoot a bunch of different ones at the range, but I prefer to keep my carry gun constant for the muscle memory of the feel of it, the controls, the draw, target acquisition, etc...

G26 all year. Not because it's my favorite, it's just the easiest to carry out of my pistols.
Politicians are like diapers. They both need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

My always carry is a Mustang Plus II, other than that my High Power or 1911 if carrying multiple. Hunting is a S&W 586 or Ruger Redhawk. Last couple of years, Encon officers haven't asked to see a permit when carrying either hunting or fishing.

I do have a little .22 Derringer but weighs nearly as much as much as the Mustang and feel that a .22 would only esculate a bad situation to worse. I'm old school, .45 cal Black Talons and I still have a few boxes of the Old Federal High Shocks in .380 and 9mm.

I would never carry a .380 for SD now that you have the same guns running 9 mm. Just saying...

Unfortunately I am limited to what I can carry for indemnification purposes. But it's either the G26 or S&W 5946. Both options involve 2 spare mags in the back pocket.
