Agreed. I can see both sides of this. I have my pistol permit, but up until my last pistol had been spoiled by only doing transfers from family at the Rochester gun show. I bought my most recent pistol at a retail location and had to go through the whole hassle of arranging a time that both my wife and I (have to get it on her permit too) could drive downtown with our daughter. I hate driving downtown. I hate finding parking places. I hate standing in line to pay to exercise a constitutionally protected right. Then add in all the stupid paperwork at the retail location and I swore I'd never buy another pistol again.

Lovely pistol. SIG knows how to make reliable and good looking pistols. My buddy just got rid of his last Kimber Lemon and now he is after a new one. He should look into these.

My shooting buddy has a Kimber, piece of crap AFAIAC.
