CS, it pains me to say this, but I totally agree with 4ex. You're here on NYSG so you're obviously 'on the grid'. I can't get on board with the whole 'i refuse to pay for a right' mentality. Would it be ideal to live in a Constitutional state? Hell yeah it would. But to give up your right to defend yourself and your family because you're grandstanding about paying for your right's is ludicrous. IMO you're letting 'the man' win. They don't want you armed and you're saying ok. Sorry bro, I just don't get it.Comment

Lay off on CS you guys, he's actually in the Federal Chicken Protection Program as a result of his testimony back in the 70's against that Colonel from Kentucky. I have no excuse, I have a reason. I don't bend over and accept crap like that!! Another reason ...$200??? HA!!! Someone is dreaming!! It's $500+ here AND you have to purchase a pistol ahead of time. So ... I stand where I stand and I ain't budging. Oh ... the last guy I knew that went through the hoops (still doesn't have his permit after 9 months) paid $600 not including the pistol which was another $450. No thanks. That's worse than a 10day waiting period to buy a gun like Kalifornia!! Apparently you haven't heard of all those other states where you buy a pistol just like a long gun huh?? Pass the BGC and walk out with a pistol. That SHOULD be as difficult as it gets .... too many have accepted this NYC style law. You have to be granted permission to exercise a right??? Hmmmmm .... Anyways, jump on me all you want. I won't own a pistol in NYS. That's that. You can justify to yourself why YOU paid and applied for permission all you want to exercise your right .... you ain't proving anything to me other than what I've stated above. You accept infringement. That's cool. Now ... I still think the pistol posted in this thread is cool as hell!!!
