Took the new ruger lc9s to the range today. Went through 150 rds with no ftf or fte.
Only issue I had was twice the slide locked back on me midway through the magazine, two different mags. Both times round was ejected, slide locked back, several rds left in mag.
Now somebody there said it could be from limpwristing it. If that was the case wouldn't I have a failure to feed or eject?
Admittedly I was very tired awake for 24 hours and not paying much attention. Just trying to put some rounds through the gun.
Slide lock spring is working. With my grip, my thumb is usually resting on top of the safety, my thumb really doesn't even reach the slide lock unless I stretch for it.
I don't know, the grips are very thin. Maybe it's jumping on me causing my thumb to hit slide lock. Maybe buy some talon grips for it.
Thoughts?
