Applications are all filled in, ready for the mail tomorrow after finishing the 4 hour class with Rochester Personal Defense this morning. I can't wait to have my "right" to legally carry a handgun hidden under my shirt extended to 72% of the United States.

I think Utah took about 3 weeks, Florida about a month. I didn't bother with AZ because it didn't gain me anything at the time I took mine. Welcome to the club, shame we have to go through this nonsense simply to be able to protect ourselves when we travel.Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own
I have to bend over too far
I get a boner.
bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!
I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I've been planning to get PA for a while, I just haven't been that far south during the week any time recently. It looks like our travel schedule for kids sports this winter and next summer so far won't take us to PA, so no real hurry there. I'm trying to avoid making a dedicated trip to PA just for the permit.
The other one I would like is Oregon, we visit there every summer (or try to at least) to help my father in law haying his fields for the livestock. They only issue non-resident permits to adjacent states though. I open carry on his 60 acre property, but the town of Clatskanie apparently has an ordinance against open carry in town. Concealed is concealed I guess. We're usually headed across the Columbia River into Longview, WA anyway if we need to head to town for anything. Utah permit is good there.Sticky Lips at High Noon!
