1911 questions about buying. Lengthy.

Gun broker. I've been watching the guy list it daily for about a week. I bid a few times, didn't meet the reserve price. Eventually, he lowered the starting price to what I had bid, and removed the reserve. I'm the only person who has bid on it since he started listing it. I've emailed him about it a few times and he seems to be on the level.
