  • Who wants to school me on Ready States

Yeah I know I can Google it but what fun would that be. So I carry my Sig 938 (similar to 1911 controls) its one in the pipe, hammer back and safety on. Glocks one in the pipe and ready to rock. I don't carry a revolver but if I did it would be one in the cylinder, hammer down (double action). So what does this mean on the ready state scale and when would it be appropriate to carry in different ready states?

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Ready states depend on the firearm. You should never carry a revolver with the hammer cocked, so a revolver only has 2 readiness scale (loaded, or unloaded). The ready scale can be thought of as how quickly you could fire a shot.
