  • Springfield Trophy Match information

Does anyone have one? Looking for information and opinions on the gun and personal experience. Looking for a target weapon not for carry.

Only guy I know with a Springfield is Master Swimmer but I'm guessing you probably knew that.

What type of gun is it?

      I've got a great target gun. .22LR on a 1911 frame.

usmcveteran has got a Les Baer that's pretty fukking sweet...is that close enough?
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

        I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

B, as you know I have a S.A. EMP .40. Nothing like the Trophy Match. The TM is a beautiful piece. Wish I had some experience with it to share with you.

Had a Loaded lightweight was pretty accurate, Still use the slide on another frame (blowed p the LW frame with a squib). Using a drop in SA loaded barrel, it's ok, not crazy accurate like my Para with a Kart barrel, but USPSA accurate. Plan on putting a Kart in it eventually. SA isnt' %100 compatible with other parts, that is my only complaint with them, but if you aren't swapping parts, you wont' have an issue.

Les Baer might be a little too expensive. I want to stay in 45 acp. Thanks guys. I just want to get my hands on them and see how they feel.

I may have a solution. A shop in PA wants my SR 762. He is willing to trade for a trophy match. Good deal?

if you are happy with the trade terms go for it. What is an SR. 7.62 going for these days? I have quite a few springfield 1911s I think I paid less than 1k for the stainless loaded version I got last year.
