  • Got the 101!!!

Finally!! Had some good laughs trying it out with the holster. It fits great, and the holster is about the most comfortable thing ever, but concealed? Not even close. Haven't shot it yet; too much work to do and too damn cold, but I bought some PMC 132 gr. 38's, some Aguila 158 gr. 38's and some PPU .357's. (That's what the FFL had.)

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Tomorrow for pics. I was busy shovelling and un-freezing water lines today, lol.

I suppose it might be a good thing that it's so cold, otherwise I might be too sad to send it away for six weeks. Hopefully we get a day this week where the wind chills aren't in the -20's. The closest indoor range is nearly an hour away, and I can't exactly take the kids, so it's going to have to be out in the yard. Brrrr!

Curious to hear the full report; pistol, holster, and complete ensemble reviews.

                Praying things get better.

No creepy neighbors to leave the kids with while you go to range?

I'm sure you can do some dry fire testing inside to get the feel of the trigger pull and ergonomics (no live ammo in the room!). Then you can fire off a few in yard if no prob with locals. Not ideal but I would have a hard time waiting and would definitely want to fire it a few times before sending it out.

Very nice revolver swilliams,I have this one next to my Browning and love it..it is the Ruger GP101 mine has the 6 inch barrel..

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

We're lucky out here. Neighbors are not very close, and around here people worry about you if they DON'T hear shooting. Every now and then, you'll hear someone empty a 30 round mag somewhere north of us. Definitely not the place for someone to live who doesn't like guns, lol.

Concealing that!? nope..not when i saw your body in that pic from NYF, u could wear a parka year round. Hey I'd be happy about the "non concealment" reason u need a little thing like my 32 or something wearable inner leg or just never wear nice tight girl stuff ever again lol
