I have wanted one of those too! My Les Baer came with the 1.5 inch guarantee. Thing is a tack driver!

Well, I've never been much of a pistolaro, and do like my SIG, 1911, but this one is a .62cal. smooth bore that shoots a right fine pumkin, or a hand full of shot. Push comes to shove it makes a dandy club!!

Glock 19 in 9mm and glock 32 in 357 SIG.
I know boring right? but guess what?... you pull the trigger and they go bang EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Glocks are the AKs of the pistols.

            o. 1911 in .45 then the Browning High Power in 9 mm for personal defense
            o S&W 57 for hunting
            o Encore/Contender serious plinking
Not my fault for listing them that way, not enough parameters to narrow it down to one.
I must say I love beavers.

There are so many great options but if one was going to have a few firearms in the house and perhaps only one pistol this
could be a simple yet ideal breakdown...

              - A 10/22 and or Savage MKII.
              - A 12 ga. remington 870 or Mossy 500 with one of those spare barrel deals.
              - A savage 10 / remington 700 in 223 with the bottom to take AR magazines.
              - A AR or saiga in 223 that takes AR magazines (Saiga with MSL AR magazine adapter).
              - A savage 10 / remington 700 in 308w ( savage hog hunter amazing value).
              - A glock 19 with 4 or 5 magazines.

These will cover any needs from defensive, precision shooting, through hunting and cheap pinking all with
the most popular platforms available with the biggest aftermarket support. One could go with 45 1911 but
in terms of caliber cost and popularity the 9mm cannot be matched.
If one wanted a bit more power for carry a 357SIG conversion is simple and a very effective round. The
US secret service choice. And will be able to reload with some of the same bulk deal bullets for 9mm.
Same if one wants to add a lever action in 357 magnum for fun.

Consolidation in popular calibers that share the same bullets and powders is something very important.
Most of us end up with too many calibers and complexities that we will never need. There is a very fine
line between hobby and insanity and some of us has crossed that line a long time ago. LOL
