This is a tough one for sure. I own quiet o few handguns.

My favorite to carry is my XDS45, conceals great, carries well and fits my hand like a custom made gun.

Range shooting, SR9C for a plastic gun. Shoots awesome and after more than 5000 rounds, still shoots like it is brand new.

Range shooting all metal gun, hands down, any 1911.

A friend of mine just recently acquired a PPQ. I haven't shot it, but it felt fantastic in my hand. His was the newer model with a more traditional mag release button, rather than it being incorporated into the bottom of the trigger guard.

From what I hear, 10 round mags are hard to come by and very expensive (he paid almost $60 a piece for 2 additional at the store), which makes the PPQ availability in NY low.

I will be called all sorts of names for listing my favorite All Around Handgun, I have a Para 1911, a Walther PPK/s in 380 and a 1962 Walther PP in 32. I will take the PP over all of them. Reasons why, it fits my hand like a glove. Fixed barrel tack driver, super easy to conceal year round, zero recoil follow up shots are quick and on target. I can shoot 500-1000 rounds and not be beat up, super reliable and I have confidence if a center mass shot was not there I could hit anywhere I was aiming fast.

Not surprised at all. I have a PPK/S in .32 and it nips at the heels of my P99 because it is such a joy to shoot.

I don't have a ton of pistol experience, but for a semi-auto I really liked the Sig P220 I shot. Based on what I liked about it I'm sure I would appreciate any of the Sig pistols.

Yeah i have a ww2 era PP in .32 auto that really is a fun gun. Once I stopped using Peshittaty ammo i have had nothing but fantastic experiences with it. not sure i fully trust my life on it though, i don't carry it as 1. it's pretty old and 2. that's a pretty small round when i have a shield in 9mm that is pretty similarly sized. but i love getting that PP out at the range.

Still the Beretta PX4 Storm, which was an impulse purchase. Sure worked out well! It's a 9mm, but with the magazine freedom here in PA, I'm happy with this as my home defense gun. A pure joy to shoot.

I have a Sig P224 in .40 that is probbaly my favorite. The grip is a little short for me, but I shoot it the best of any gun I have. It's also small enough to be concealable and just plain fun to shoot.

This is a sad post, because I was stupid enough to trade it in.

Springfield XD, 4" Service, .45 ACP with tritiums. Most naturally pointing handgun I've ever had. My 9mm XD SC is good in that respect too.

I dont have many, but its gotta be the g19. Compact enough to cc, big enough to not feel like a toy, good 9mm ammo packs more than enough punch, and in shtf i can carry 2x as much 9mm ammo as compared to .45...
