  • Favorite All Around Handgun

What is your favorite all around Handgun and why?? I know it will be hard for the guys and gals who have a lot of them but if you could narrow it down to only ONE, what would it be?? Carry in winter/summer, range time etc etc etc. all factors.

Glock 21 but it doesn't get used much so it's back to my Glock 19

My K-Frame S&W Model 66-3 4 inch is a gun that I could carry under any circumstance. Light enough to belt carry, can shoot 125 grain man stoppers, 158 grain deer killers, and 190 grain hard cast hole punchers. It's not ideal for everything, but its got good all around stats.

          G32, G19, G23.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

G23 have a lot of nicer guns but goto the G23 for MDTS classes which is where I have the most fun with guns....

If I had to pick one it would be the S&W 65. I can shoot that thing all day.

1911A1 ( 3,4.25 and 5 inch) and Ruger single action revolvers.

1911 for the simple controls, great pointability and the grip.
Ruger' single action revolver, the control combined with the cartridge choices.

I will be called all sorts of names for listing my favorite All Around Handgun, I have a Para 1911, a Walther PPK/s in 380 and a 1962 Walther PP in 32. I will take the PP over all of them. Reasons why, it fits my hand like a glove. Fixed barrel tack driver, super easy to conceal year round, zero recoil follow up shots are quick and on target. I can shoot 500-1000 rounds and not be beat up, super reliable and I have confidence if a center mass shot was not there I could hit anywhere I was aiming fast.

Well for an all around gun I like my Bersa UC 9mm the best , inexpensive investment, cheap ammo and accurate.

Best all around would have to be my M&P9.
Ok I can go a couple ways

I have limited experience in the handgun realm to draw from, but I'd take the G19 of all the ones I've ever shot.
